Clinical Rotations - Externships
Berkeley Optometry has established a large number of Externships. Our goal is to broaden the diversity of patient populations for our students while they undergo intensive training in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of visual disorders.
Fourth-year students attend at least three externships staffed by adjunct clinical professors who provide mentorships to our students. Our students also gain clinical experience in Community Outreach Clinics while serving disadvantaged populations.
